One year, four reviews
Quarter 1
We start every year with a meeting focused on what is most important to you. The Alignment Model looks at your values, goals and actions to assure that your plan is working in concert with what is most important to you. We also model out various scenarios to give us a game plan for the year ahead.
Quarter 2
During the second quarter of each year, we’ll take a deep dive into all of your investments. We’ll review asset allocation, determine risk exposure, align assets with goals and assess your entire investment picture to assure everything is working as it should.
Quarter 3
No matter how much planning you engage in, life happens. And that’s why our work in the third quarter focuses on risk management. We will stress test your financial picture to see how the ‘what-if’s’ may impact your family and assure that your risks are covered appropriately and efficiently.
Quarter 4
As the year closes, we run a tax projection for you to assess any opportunities to optimize your tax picture and get ahead of any unwanted surprises at tax time. We also cover any outstanding action items for the year and review your giving plan to align your wealth and generosity goals.

Getting Started
Week 1
Week 1 officially kicks off your onboarding process with an in-person meeting. During this meeting we will recap your values and goals, establishing your personal Alignment Model and ensuring we have established the decision-making framework that will be used to build your plan.
Week 2
We will collect all your financial information and documents during week 2. This week may be a little more intense for you than some of the other weeks, but we will be there with you every step of the way. You will use the Master’s Wealth Manager Vault to provide documents to us, giving you a secure and simple way to share information.
Week 3
Week 3 you can expect to hear from your advisor either via email or phone call. Your advisor will address any remaining items needing clarification from their review of your financial inventory.
Week 4
Our team will meet to discuss your financial situation and lay the groundwork for your initial financial plan through our Strategy & Design process. This week is when you see our ‘true team approach’ in action, as you will have a plan that is thoughtfully constructed by our entire team of advisors. We will keep you updated throughout this week as our team works on organizing your financial life.
Week 5
We will meet again in Week 5 to review our initial planning recommendations and walk through your big picture cash flow plan. We will also review our assessment of your investment portfolio, covering all the bases from retirement accounts, to private investments, real estate and everything in between.
Week 6
We will review your current risk management structure, assessing your insurance portfolio, legal documents and any other unique risks to your personal situation. This review helps you to understand where your largest gaps exist, and how best to mitigate them efficiently.
Week 7
We will review your current tax situation and provide context for where your risks and opportunities are. We want to pay what is owed, but not a penny more! Our multi-year tax planning approach models out current and future scenarios for a holistic view of your lifetime tax bill and how to best manage it.
Week 8
The purpose of your final onboarding meeting will be to review the topics covered throughout the onboarding process. We will also review your initial list of action steps and summarize your big picture plan on our One Page Plan. You will then be introduced to your team at Master’s as you begin your ongoing relationship with us.
